Academics: Have you worked on a research project, essay, or science experiment that required analyzing multiple sources and synthesizing ideas?

I am an analytical person so I analyze everything I read. I’ve done many compare-and-contrast assignments that compared two different stories and write a response. I learned to synthesize ideas via English primarily

Personal Growth: Have you ever recognized a weakness in your learning process and made adjustments to improve?

I noticed I tend to take grading very personally. I noticed I tend to take large assignments as if they are the end of the world. I now take assignment grading as a teacher doing their job, and I’ve learned to compartmentalize my work.



Extracurriculars: Have you planned an event, solved a problem in a club or sport, or worked on a group project where logical reasoning was key?

I’ve planned my club. Every Tuesday 3:36-4:30, I planned this with the help of my teacher who runs the show with me.

Real-World Applications: Have you faced a challenge in daily life (job, family, personal goal) that required you to apply critical thinking?

I face both in school and out of school issues every day. I use my skills learned in class as a guide to fix my small issues and problems.
